εἰ
εἴ
  • Parse #1: Conjunction
  • Note: form of εἰ when it is followed by an enclitic
  • Note: In Titus 1:6 (εἴ τίς ἐστιν ), it may be supposed that τίς is an interrogative pronoun because of its form; but it is followed by the enclitic ἐστιν which forces its accent on τίς (so that it is really an indefinite pronoun). And because τίς is an enclitic, εἰ also gets the accent. Also see Acts 13:15; 1Cor 14:37; Jas 1:26; Phil 2:1; Rev 13:9; 14:9
