1 A Song of degrees of David.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!

1 [ᾨδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν· τῷ Δαυίδ.] Ἰδοὺ δὴ τί καλὸν τί τερπνὸν ἀλλ’ τὸ κατοικεῖν ἀδελφοὺς ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό; 1 ᾨδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν. — ἰδοῦ δὴ τί καλὸν τί τερπνόν, ἀλλ’ τὸ κατοικεῖν ἀδελφοὺς ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό;
1 A Song of Degrees. See now! what is so good, or what so pleasant, as for brothers to dwell together? 1 A Song of Degrees. See now! what is so good, or what so pleasant, as for brothers to dwell together?

2 It is like the precious ointment on the head, that ran down on the beard, even Aaron’s beard; that went down to the skirts of his garments;

2 It is as ointment on the head, that ran down to the beard, even the beard of Aaron; that ran down to the fringe of his clothing. 2 It is as ointment on the head, that ran down to the beard, even the beard of Aaron; that ran down to the fringe of his clothing.

3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended on the mountains of Zion; for there Yahweh commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

3 As the dew of Aermon, that comes down on the mountains of Sion; for there, the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for ever. 3 As the dew of Aermon, that comes down on the mountains of Sion; for there, the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for ever.
