1 A Song of degrees.
Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh; who walks in his ways.

שִׁיר הַמַּעֲלֹות
אַשְׁרֵי כָּל ־ יְרֵא יְהוָה הַהֹלֵךְ בִּדְרָכָיו׃

1 [ᾨδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν.] Μακάριοι πάντες οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν κύριον οἱ πορευόμενοι ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ.	1 ᾨδὴ τῶν ἀναβαθμῶν. — μακάριοι πάντες οἱ φοβούμενοι τὸν Κύριον, οἱ πορευόμενοι ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ.

2 For you shall eat the labour of your hands; happy you shall be, and it shall be well with you.

יְגִיעַ כַּפֶּיךָ כִּי תֹאכֵל אַשְׁרֶיךָ וְטֹוב לָךְ׃

3 Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house; your children like olive plants all around your table.

אֶשְׁתְּךָ כְּגֶפֶן פֹּרִיָּה בְּיַרְכְּתֵי בֵיתֶךָ בָּנֶיךָ כִּשְׁתִלֵי זֵיתִים סָבִיב לְשֻׁלְחָנֶךָ׃

3 ἡ γυνή σου ὡς ἄμπελος εὐθηνοῦσα ἐν τοῖς κλίτεσι τῆς οἰκίας σου· οἱ υἱοί σου ὡς νεόφυτα ἐλαιῶν κύκλῳ τῆς τραπέζης σου.	3 ἡ γυνή σου ὡς ἄμπελος εὐθηνοῦσα ἐν τοῖς κλίτεσι τῆς οἰκίας σου· οἱ υἱοί σου ὡς νεόφυτα ἐλαιῶν κύκλῳ τῆς τραπέζης σου.

4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears Yahweh.

הִנֵּה כִי ־ כֵן יְבֹרַךְ גָּבֶר יְרֵא יְהוָה׃

4 Ἰδοὺ οὕτως εὐλογηθήσεται ἄνθρωπος ὁ φοβούμενος τὸν κύριον.	4 ἰδοὺ οὕτως εὐλογηθήσεται ἄνθρωπος ὁ φοβούμενος τὸν Κύριον.

5 Yahweh shall bless you out of Zion; and you shall see the good of Jerusalem all the days of your life.

יְבָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה מִצִּיֹּון וּרְאֵה בְּטוּב יְרוּשָׁלִָם כֹּל יְמֵי חַיֶּיךָ׃

5 εὐλογήσαι σὲ κύριος ἐκ Σιών, καὶ ἴδοις τὰ ἀγαθὰ Ἱερουσαλὴμ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς σου·	5 εὐλογήσαι σε Κύριος ἐκ Σιών, καὶ ἴδοις τὰ ἀγαθὰ Ἱερουσαλὴμ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς σου·

6 Yes, you shall see your children’s children, and peace on Israēl.

וּרְאֵה ־ בָנִים לְבָנֶיךָ שָׁלֹום עַל ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל׃

6 καὶ ἴδοις υἱοὺς τῶν υἱῶν σου. εἰρήνη ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραήλ.	6 καὶ ἴδοις υἱοὺς τῶν υἱῶν σου. εἰρήνη ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραήλ.
