1 Moreover David and the captains of the army separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals; and the number of the workmen according to their service was.

1 καὶ ἔστησεν Δαυὶδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀσὰφ καὶ Αἱμὰν καὶ Ἰδιθὼν τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις. καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν·	1 Καὶ ἔστησε Δαυὶδ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες τῆς δυνάμεως εἰς τὰ ἔργα τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἀσὰφ καὶ Αἰμὰν καὶ Ἰδιθοὺν τοὺς ἀποφθεγγομένους ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις. καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν κατὰ κεφαλὴν αὐτῶν ἐργαζομένων ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτῶν.

3 τῷ Ἰδιθὼν υἱοὶ Ἰδιθών· Γοδολία καὶ Σουρὶ καὶ Ἰσαία καὶ Σεμεῒ καὶ Ἀσαβία καὶ Ματταθίας, ἕξ, μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ἰδιθὼν ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενοι ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἴνεσιν τῷ κυρίῳ.	3 τῷ Ἰδιθοὺν υἱοὶ Ἰδιθούν· Γοδολίας καὶ Σουρὶ καὶ Ἰσέας καὶ Σεμεῒ καὶ Ἀσαβίας καὶ Ματταθίας, ἓξ μετὰ τὸν πατέρα αὐτῶν Ἰδιθούν, ἐν κινύρᾳ ἀνακρουόμενοι ἐξομολόγησιν καὶ αἴνεσιν τῷ Κυρίῳ.

4 To Aimani were reckoned the sons of Aiman, Boukias, and Manthanias, and Azaraēl, and Soubaēl, and Jerimōth, and Ananias, and Anani, and Ēliatha, and Godollathi, and Rhōmemthi-ōd, and Jesbakasa, and Mallēthi, and Ōthēri, and Meazōth.	4 To Aiman were reckoned the sons of Ainan, Boukias, and Matthanias, and Oziēl, and Soubaēl, and Jerimōth, and Ananias, and Anan, and Heliatha, and Godollathi, and Rhōmetthiezer, and Jesbasaka, and Mallithi, and Ōthēri, and Meazōth.

5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman 14 sons and three daughters.

5 All these were the sons of Haiman the king’s chief player in the praises of God, to lift up the horn. 7 So the number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in the songs of Yahweh, even all who were cunning, was 288.
