1 A Psalm of David.
I will praise you with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praise to you.

אֹודְךָ בְכָל ־ לִבִּי נֶגֶד אֱלֹהִים אֲזַמְּרֶךָּ׃

2 I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your lovingkindness and for your truth; for you have magnified your word above all your name.

אֶשְׁתַּחֲוֶה אֶל ־ הֵיכַל קָדְשְׁךָ וְאֹודֶה אֶת ־ שְׁמֶךָ עַל ־ חַסְדְּךָ וְעַל ־ אֲמִתֶּךָ כִּי ־ הִגְדַּלְתָּ עַל ־ כָּל ־ שִׁמְךָ אִמְרָתֶךָ׃

3 In the day when I cried you answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul.

בְּיֹום קָרָאתִי וַתַּעֲנֵנִי תַּרְהִבֵנִי בְנַפְשִׁי עֹז׃

4 All the kings of the earth shall praise you, Oh Yahweh, when they hear the words of your mouth.

5 Yes, they shall sing in the ways of Yahweh; for great is the glory of Yahweh.

וְיָשִׁירוּ בְּדַרְכֵי יְהוָה כִּי גָדֹול כְּבֹוד יְהוָה׃

5 καὶ ᾀσάτωσαν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς κυρίου, ὅτι μεγάλη ἡ δόξα κυρίου,	5 καὶ ᾀσάτωσαν ἐν ταῖς ᾠδαῖς Κυρίου, ὅτι μεγάλη ἡ δόξα Κυρίου,

6 Though Yahweh be high, yet has he respect to the lowly; but the proud he knows afar off.

כִּי ־ רָם יְהוָה וְשָׁפָל יִרְאֶה וְגָבֹהַּ מִמֶּרְחָק יְיֵדָע׃

7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you will revive me; you shall stretch forth your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand shall save me.

אִם ־ אֵלֵךְ בְּקֶרֶב צָרָה תְּחַיֵּנִי עַל אַף אֹיְבַי תִּשְׁלַח יָדֶךָ וְתֹושִׁיעֵנִי יְמִינֶךָ׃

7 ἐὰν πορευθῶ ἐν μέσῳ θλίψεως, ζήσεις με· ἐπ’ ὀργὴν ἐχθρῶν μου ἐξέτεινας χεῖρά σου, καὶ ἔσωσέν με ἡ δεξιά σου.	7 ἐὰν πορευθῶ ἐν μέσῳ θλίψεως, ζήσεις με· ἐπ’ ὀργὴν ἐχθρῶν μου ἐξέτεινας χεῖράς σου, καὶ ἔσωσέ με ἡ δεξιά σου.

8 Yahweh will perfect what concerns me; your mercy, Oh Yahweh, endures for ever; forsake not the works of your own hands.

יְהוָה יִגְמֹר בַּעֲדִי יְהוָה חַסְדְּךָ לְעֹולָם מַעֲשֵׂי יָדֶיךָ אַל ־ תֶּרֶף׃
