Genesis

1 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and to them were sons born after the flood.

8 And Cush fathered Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

17 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

17 καὶ τὸν Εὐαῖον καὶ τὸν Ἁρουκαῖον καὶ τὸν Ἁσενναῖον	17 καὶ τὸν Ἀσενναῖον καὶ τὸν Ἀράδιον καὶ τὸν Σαμαραῖον καὶ τὸν Ἀμαθί.
17 and the Evite, and the Haroukite, and the Hasennite,	17 and the Asennite and the Aradite and the Samarite and the Amathite

18 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite; and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

18 καὶ τὸν Ἀράδιον καὶ τὸν Σαμαραῖον καὶ τὸν Ἀμαθί. καὶ μετὰ τοῦτο διεσπάρησαν αἱ φυλαὶ τῶν Χαναναίων,	18 καὶ μετὰ τοῦτο διεσπάρησαν αἱ φυλαὶ τῶν Χαναναίων,
18 and the Aradian, and the Samarite, and the Amathite; and after this the tribes of the Chananites were dispersed.	18 and after this the tribes of the Chananites were dispersed.

19 And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as you come to Gerar, to Gaza; as you go, to Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even to Lasha.

19 καὶ ἐγένοντο τὰ ὅρια τῶν Χαναναίων ἀπὸ Σιδῶνος ἕως ἐλθεῖν εἰς Γέραρα καὶ Γάζα, ἕως ἐλθεῖν Σοδόμων καὶ Γομόρρας, Ἀδαμὰ καὶ Σεβωῒμ, ἕως Λασά.	19 καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια τῶν Χαναναίων ἀπὸ Σιδῶνος ἕως ἐλθεῖν εἰς Γεραρὰ καὶ Γαζάν, ἕως ἐλθεῖν ἕως Σοδόμων καὶ Γομόρρας, Ἀδαμὰ καὶ Σεβωΐμ ἕως Δασά.

21 Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

24 And Arphaxad fathered Salah; and Salah fathered Eber.

25 And to Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.

26 And Joktan fathered Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazar-maveth, and Jerah,

28 And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

29 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.
