Zechariah

1 And he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Yahweh, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him.

1 Καὶ ἔδειξέν μοι Ἰησοῦν τὸν ἱερέα τὸν μέγαν ἑστῶτα πρὸ προσώπου ἀγγέλου κυρίου καὶ ὁ διάβολος εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἀντικεῖσθαι αὐτῷ.	1 Καὶ ἔδειξέ μοι Κύριος Ἰησοῦν, τὸν ἱερέα τὸν μέγαν, ἑστῶτα πρὸ προσώπου ἀγγέλου Κυρίου, καὶ ὁ διάβολος εἱστήκει ἐκ δεξιῶν αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἀντικεῖσθαι αὐτῷ.

2 And Yahweh said to Satan, Yahweh rebuke you, Oh Satan; even Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?

2 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς τὸν διάβολον, Ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοί, διάβολε, καὶ ἐπιτιμήσαι κύριος ἐν σοί ὁ ἐκλεξάμενος τὴν Ἱερουσαλήμ· οὐκ ἰδοὺ τοῦτο ὡς δαλὸς ἐξεσπασμένος ἐκ πυρός;	2 καὶ εἶπε Κύριος πρὸς τὸν διάβολον· ἐπιτιμήσαι Κύριος ἐν σοί, διάβολε, καὶ ἐπιτιμήσαι Κύριος ἐν σοί ὁ ἐκλεξάμενος τὴν Ἱερουσαλήμ· οὐκ ἰδοὺ τοῦτο ὡς δαλὸς ἐξεσπασμένος ἐκ πυρός;

3 [LXX 3:4] Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

4 [LXX 3:5] And he answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And to him he said, Look! I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with change of raiment.

4 [LXX 3:5] καὶ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς ἑστηκότας πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ λέγων, ἀφέλετε τὰ ἱμάτια τὰ ῥυπαρὰ ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ. καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν, ἰδοὺ ἀφῄρηκα τὰς ἀνομίας σου, καὶ ἐνδύσατε αὐτὸν ποδήρη	4 [LXX 3:5] καὶ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ εἶπε πρὸς τοὺς ἑστηκότας πρὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ λέγων· ἀφέλετε τὰ ἱμάτια τὰ ῥυπαρὰ ἀπ’ αὐτοῦ. καὶ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτόν· ἰδοὺ ἀφῄρηκα τὰς ἀνομίας σου, καὶ ἐνδύσατε αὐτὸν ποδήρη

7 [LXX 3:8] Thus says Yahweh of hosts; If you will walk in my ways, and if you will keep my charge, then you shall also judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you places to walk among these who stand by.

7 [LXX 3:8] τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ, Ἐὰν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς μου πορεύῃ καὶ ἐὰν τὰ προστάγματά μου φυλάξῃς, καὶ σὺ διακρινεῖς τὸν οἶκόν μου· καὶ ἐὰν διαφυλάξῃς καὶ γε τὴν αὐλήν μου, καὶ δώσω σοί ἀναστρεφομένους ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἑστηκότων τούτων.	7 [LXX 3:8] τάδε λέγει Κύριος παντοκράτωρ· ἐὰν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς μου πορεύῃ καὶ ἐὰν τὰ προστάγματά μου φυλάξῃς, καὶ σὺ διακρινεῖς τὸν οἶκόν μου· καὶ ἐὰν διαφυλάξῃς καί γε τὴν αὐλήν μου, καὶ δώσω σοι ἀναστρεφομένους ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἑστηκότων τούτων.
7 [LXX 3:8] Thus says the Lord Almighty: “If you will walk in my ways, and if you keep my ordinances, then you shall judge my house. 8 [LXX 3:9] Hear now, Oh Joshua the high priest, you, and your fellows who sit before you; for they are men wondered at: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant the BRANCH.

8 [LXX 3:9] ἄκουε δή, Ἰησοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ μέγας, σὺ καὶ οἱ πλησίον σου οἱ καθήμενοι πρὸ προσώπου σου, διότι ἄνδρες τερατοσκόποι εἰσί· διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἄγω τὸν δοῦλόν μου Ἀνατολήν·	8 [LXX 3:9] ἄκουε δή, Ἰησοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς ὁ μέγας, σὺ καὶ οἱ πλησίον σου οἱ καθήμενοι πρὸ προσώπου σου, διότι ἄνδρες τερατοσκόποι εἰσί· διότι ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἄγω τὸν δοῦλόν μου Ἀνατολήν·
8 [LXX 3:9] Please hear, Jēsous the high priest, you, and your companions who are sitting before you; because the men are diviners; because, look! 9 [LXX 3:10] For behold the stone that I have laid before Joshua; on one stone shall be seven eyes: behold, I will engrave the engraving of it, says Yahweh of hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

9 [LXX 3:10] διότι ὁ λίθος, ὃν ἔδωκα πρὸ προσώπου Ἰησοῦ, ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα ἑπτὰ ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν· ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ὀρύσσω βόθρον, λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ καὶ ψηλαφήσω πᾶσαν τὴν ἀδικίαν τῆς γῆς ἐκείνης ἐν ἡμέρᾳ μιᾷ.	9 [LXX 3:10] διότι ὁ λίθος, ὃν ἔδωκα πρὸ προσώπου τοῦ Ἰησοῦ, ἐπὶ τὸν λίθον τὸν ἕνα ἑπτὰ ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν. ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ὀρύσσω βόθρον, λέγει Κύριος παντοκράτωρ, καὶ ψηλαφήσω πᾶσαν τὴν ἀδικίαν τῆς γῆς ἐκείνης ἐν ἡμέρᾳ μιᾷ.

10 [LXX 3:11] In that day, says Yahweh of hosts, you shall call every man his neighbour under the vine and under the fig tree.
