Song of a Psalm by David. Song of a Psalm by David.

1 Oh God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

1 Oh God, my heart is ready, my heart is ready; I will sing and sing psalms with my glory. 1 Oh God, my heart is ready, my heart is ready; I will sing and sing psalms with my glory.

2 Awake, psaltery and harp; I myself will awake early.

2 Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake early. 2 2 Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake early.

3 I will praise you, Oh Yahweh, among the people; and I will sing praises to you among the nations.

3 I will give thanks to you, Oh Lord, among the people; I will sing praise to you among the Gentiles. 3 I will give thanks to you, Oh Lord, among the people; I will sing praise to you among the Gentiles.

4 For your mercy is great above the heavens; and your truth reaches to the clouds.

4 For your mercy is great above the heavens, and your truth reaches to the clouds. 4 For your mercy is great above the heavens, and your truth reaches to the clouds.

5 Be exalted, Oh God, above the heavens; and your glory above all the earth;

5 Be exalted, Oh God, above the heavens; and your glory above all the earth. 5 Be exalted, Oh God, above the heavens; and your glory above all the earth.

6 That your beloved may be delivered; save with your right hand, and answer me.

6 That your beloved ones may be delivered, save with your right hand, and hear me. God has spoken in his sanctuary; 6 That your beloved ones may be delivered, save with your right hand, and hear me. God has spoken in his sanctuary;

7 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7 I will be exalted, and will divide Sicima, and will measure out the valley of tents. 7 I will be exalted, and will divide Sicima, and will measure out the valley of tents.

8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of my head; Judah is my lawgiver;

8 Galaad is mine; and Manasses is mine; and Ephraim is the help of my head; Judas is my king; 8 Galaad is mine; and Manasses is mine; and Ephraim is the help of my head; Judas is my king;

9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

9 Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I cast my sandal; the Philistines are made subject to me. 9 Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I cast my sandal; the Philistines are made subject to me.

10 Who will bring me into the strong city? Who will lead me into Edom?

10 Τίς ἀπάξει με εἰς πόλιν περιοχῆς;
τίς ὁδηγήσει με ἕως τῆς Ἰδουμαίας;
10 τίς ἀπάξει με εἰς πόλιν περιοχῆς;
τίς ὁδηγήσει με ἕως τῆς Ἰδουμαίας;
10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Or who will guide me to Idumea? 10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Or who will guide me to Idumea?

11 will not you, Oh God, who have cast us off? And will not you, Oh God, go forth with our hosts?

11 οὐχὶ σύ, θεός, ἀπωσάμενος ἡμᾶς;
11 οὐχὶ σύ, Θεός, ἀπωσάμενος ἡμᾶς;
καὶ οὐκ ἐξελεύσῃ, Θεός, ἐν ταῖς δυνάμεσιν ἡμῶν;
11 Will not you, Oh God, who have rejected us? And will not you, Oh God, go forth with our hosts? 11 Will not you, Oh God, who have rejected us? And will not you, Oh God, go forth with our hosts?

12 Give us help from trouble; for vain is the help of man.

12 Give us help from tribulation; for vain is the help of man. 12 Give us help from tribulation; for vain is the help of man.

13 Through God we shall do valiantly; for he it is who shall tread down our enemies.

13 Through God we shall do valiantly; and he will bring to nought our enemies. 13 Through God we shall do valiantly; and he will bring to nought our enemies.
