Ezekiel

1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubs there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

2 And he spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill your hand with coals of fire from between the cherubs, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

2 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν ἐνδεδυκότα τὴν στολήν εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ μέσον τῶν τροχῶν τῶν ὑποκάτω τῶν Χερουβὶν καὶ πλῆσον τὰς δράκας σου ἀνθράκων πυρὸς ἐκ μέσου τῶν Χερουβὶν καὶ διασκόρπισον ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν· καὶ εἰσῆλθεν ἐνώπιόν μου.	2 καὶ εἶπε πρὸς τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν ἐνδεδυκότα τὴν στολήν· εἴσελθε εἰς τὸ μέσον τῶν τροχῶν τῶν ὑποκάτω τῶν Χερουβὶμ καὶ πλῆσον τὰς δράκας σου ἀνθράκων πυρὸς ἐκ μέσου τῶν Χερουβὶμ καὶ διασκόρπισον ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν· καὶ εἰσῆλθεν ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ.

4 Then the glory of Yahweh went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of Yahweh’s glory.

4 καὶ ἀπῆρεν ἡ δόξα κυρίου ἀπὸ τῶν Χερουβὶν εἰς τὸ αἴθριον τοῦ οἴκου, καὶ ἔπλησεν τὸν οἶκον ἡ νεφέλη, καὶ ἡ αὐλὴ ἐπλήσθη τοῦ φέγγους τῆς δόξης κυρίου·	4 καὶ ἀπῇρεν ἡ δόξα Κυρίου ἀπὸ τῶν Χερουβὶμ εἰς τὸ αἴθριον τοῦ οἴκου, καὶ ἔπλησε τὸν οἶκον ἡ νεφέλη, καὶ ἡ αὐλὴ ἐπλήσθη τοῦ φέγγους τῆς δόξης Κυρίου·

5 And the sound of the cherubs’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaks.

6 And it happened, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubs; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.

8 And there appeared in the cherubs the form of a man’s hand under their wings.

10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.

13 As for the wheels, it was cried to them in my hearing, Oh wheel.

19 καὶ ἀνέλαβον τὰ Χερουβὶν τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐμετεωρίσθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτὰ καὶ οἱ τροχοὶ ἐχόμενοι αὐτῶν καὶ ἔστησαν ἐπὶ τὰ πρόθυρα τῆς πύλης οἴκου κυρίου τῆς ἀπέναντι, καὶ δόξα θεοῦ Ἰσραὴλ ἦν ἐπ’ αὐτῶν ὑπεράνω.	19 καὶ ἀνέλαβον τὰ Χερουβὶμ τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐμετεωρίσθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ ἐν τῷ ἐξελθεῖν αὐτά, καὶ οἱ τροχοὶ ἐχόμενοι αὐτῶν. καὶ ἔστησαν ἐπὶ τὰ πρόθυρα τῆς πύλης οἴκου Κυρίου τῆς ἀπέναντι, καὶ δόξα Θεοῦ Ἰσραὴλ ἦν ἐπ’ αὐτῶν ὑπεράνω.
