1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israēl.”

17 And Moses and Aaron took these men who are expressed by their names.

19 As Yahweh commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

53 οἱ δὲ Λευῖται παρεμβαλέτωσαν ἐναντίον κυρίου κύκλῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἁμάρτημα ἐν υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ. καὶ φυλάξουσιν οἱ Λευῖται αὐτοὶ τὴν φυλακὴν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου.	53 οἱ δὲ Λευῖται παρεμβαλλέτωσαν ἐναντίοι κύκλῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἁμάρτημα ἐν υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ· καὶ φυλάξουσιν οἱ Λευῖται αὐτοὶ τὴν φυλακὴν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου.
53 but let the Levites encamp opposite, around the tent of witness, and there shall be no offense among Israēl’s sons.
