1 Bow down your ear, Oh Yahweh, hear me; for I am poor and needy.

הַטֵּה ־ יְהוָה אָזְנְךָ עֲנֵנִי כִּי ־ עָנִי וְאֶבְיֹון אָנִי׃

שָׁמְרָה נַפְשִׁי כִּי ־ חָסִיד אָנִי הֹושַׁע עַבְדְּךָ אַתָּה אֱלֹהַי הַבֹּוטֵחַ אֵלֶיךָ׃

חָנֵּנִי אֲדֹנָי כִּי אֵלֶיךָ אֶקְרָא כָּל ־ הַיֹּום׃

הַאֲזִינָה יְהוָה תְּפִלָּתִי וְהַקְשִׁיבָה בְּקֹול תַּחֲנוּנֹותָי׃

בְּיֹום צָרָתִי אֶקְרָאֶךָּ כִּי תַעֲנֵנִי׃

אֵין ־ כָּמֹוךָ בָאֱלֹהִים אֲדֹנָי וְאֵין כְּמַעֲשֶׂיךָ׃

8 Οὐκ ἔστιν ὅμοιός σοί ἐν θεοῖς, κύριε, καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν κατὰ τὰ ἔργα σου.	8 οὐκ ἐστιν ὅμοιός σοι ἐν θεοῖς, Κύριε, καὶ οὐκ ἔστι κατὰ τὰ ἔργα σου.

כָּל ־ גֹּויִם אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתָ יָבֹואוּ וְיִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לְפָנֶיךָ אֲדֹנָי וִיכַבְּדוּ לִשְׁמֶךָ׃

9 πάντα τὰ ἔθνη, ὅσα ἐποίησας, ἥξουσιν καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν ἐνώπιόν σου, κύριε, καὶ δοξάσουσιν τὸ ὄνομά σου,	9 πάντας τὰ ἔθνη, ὅσα ἐποίησας, ἥξουσι καὶ προσκυνήσουσιν ἐνώπιόν σου, Κύριε, καὶ δοξάσουσι τὸ ὄνομά σου.

כִּי ־ גָדֹול אַתָּה וְעֹשֵׂה נִפְלָאֹות אַתָּה אֱלֹהִים לְבַדֶּךָ׃

11 ὁδήγησόν με, κύριε, τῇ ὁδῷ σου, καὶ πορεύσομαι ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου· εὐφρανθήτω ἡ καρδία μου τοῦ φοβεῖσθαι τὸ ὄνομά σου.	11 ὁδήγησόν με, Κύριε, ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ σου, καὶ πορεύσομαι ἐν τῇ ἀληθείᾳ σου· εὐφρανθήτω ἡ καρδία μου τοῦ φοβεῖσθαι τὸ ὄνομά σου.

אֹודְךָ אֲדֹנָי אֱלֹהַי בְּכָל ־ לְבָבִי וַאֲכַבְּדָה שִׁמְךָ לְעֹולָם׃

12 ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι, κύριε ὁ θεός μου, ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου καὶ δοξάσω τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα,	12 ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι, Κύριε ὁ Θεός μου, ἐν ὅλῃ καρδίᾳ μου, καὶ δοξάσω τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα.

13 For great is your mercy toward me; and you have delivered my soul from the lowest hell.

כִּי ־ חַסְדְּךָ גָּדֹול עָלָי וְהִצַּלְתָּ נַפְשִׁי מִשְּׁאֹול תַּחְתִּיָּה׃

13 ὅτι τὸ ἔλεός σου μέγα ἐπ’ ἐμὲ καὶ ἐρρύσω τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐξ ᾅδου κατωτάτου.	13 ὅτι τὸ ἔλεός σου μέγα ἐπ’ ἐμὲ καὶ ἐρρύσω τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐξ ᾅδου κατωτάτου.

14 Oh God, the proud are risen against me, and the assemblies of violent men have sought after my soul; and have not set you before them.

אֱלֹהִים זֵדִים קָמוּ ־ עָלַי וַעֲדַת עָרִיצִים בִּקְשׁוּ נַפְשִׁי וְלֹא שָׂמוּךָ לְנֶגְדָּם׃

14 Ὁ θεός, παράνομοι ἐπανέστησαν ἐπ’ ἐμέ, καὶ συναγωγὴ κραταιῶν ἐζήτησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ οὐ προέθεντό σὲ ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν.	14 ὁ Θεός, παράνομοι ἐπανέστησαν ἐπ’ ἐμέ, καὶ συναγωγὴ κραταιῶν ἐζήτησαν τὴν ψυχήν μου καὶ οὐ προέθεντό σε ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν.

15 But you, Oh Lord, are a God full of mercy, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.

וְאַתָּה אֲדֹנָי אֵל ־ רַחוּם וְחַנּוּן אֶרֶךְ אַפַּיִם וְרַב ־ חֶסֶד וֶאֱמֶת׃

פְּנֵה אֵלַי וְחָנֵּנִי תְּנָה ־ עֻזְּךָ לְעַבְדֶּךָ וְהֹושִׁיעָה לְבֶן ־ אֲמָתֶךָ׃

עֲשֵׂה ־ עִמִּי אֹות לְטֹובָה וְיִרְאוּ שֹׂנְאַי וְיֵבֹשׁוּ כִּי ־ אַתָּה יְהוָה עֲזַרְתַּנִי וְנִחַמְתָּנִי׃

17 ποίησον μετ’ ἐμοῦ σημεῖον εἰς ἀγαθόν, καὶ ἰδέτωσαν οἱ μισοῦντές με καὶ αἰσχυνθήτωσαν, ὅτι σύ, κύριε, ἐβοήθησάς μοι καὶ παρεκάλεσάς με.	17 ποίησον μετ’ ἐμοῦ σημεῖον εἰς ἀγαθόν, καὶ ἰδέτωσαν οἱ μισοῦντές με καὶ αἰσχυνθήτωσαν, ὅτι σύ, Κύριε, ἐβοήθησάς μοι καὶ παρεκάλεσάς με.
