Exodus

1 Then Yahweh said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for with a strong hand he shall let them go, and with a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.”

6 Go! Tell the sons of Israēl, saying, ‛I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from the domination of the Aigyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery, and I will redeem you by a raised arm and great judgment.’	6 Go! 8 And I will bring you into the land for which I stretched out my hand to give it to Abraham and Isaac and Jakōb, and I will give it to you by allotment. 9 And Moses spoke so to the sons of Israēl; but they didn’t listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

10 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

12 And Moses spoke before Yahweh, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israēl haven’t listened to me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?”

12 Then Moses spoke before the Lord, saying, “Look! the sons of Israēl didn’t listen to me, and how will Pharaō listen to me? 13 And Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the sons of Israēl, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israēl out of the land of Egypt.

14 These are the heads of their fathers’ houses: the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israēl; Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi: these are the families of Reuben.

14 And these are the leaders of their parental households: sons of Rhoubēn, firstborn of Israēl: Enoch and Phallous, Asrōn and Charmi. 15 And sons of Symeōn: Jemouel and Jamin and Aōd and Jachin and Saar and Saoul, out of the Phoinicianess. 16 καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Λευὶ κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν· Γεδσών, Καὰθ καὶ Μεραρί· καὶ τὰ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Λευὶ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἑπτά.	16 καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Λευὶ κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν. Γεδσών, Καὰθ καὶ Μεραρεί· καὶ τὰ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Λευὶ ἑκατὸν τριακονταεπτά.

17 The sons of Gershon: Libni, and Shimi, according to their families.

18 And the sons of Kohath; Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were 133 years.

19 And the sons of Merari; Mahali and Mushi. these are the families of Levi according to their generations.

20 And Amram took him Jochebed his father’s sister to wife; and she gave birth to him Aaron and Moses; and the years of the life of Amram were 137 years.

20 καὶ ἔλαβεν Ἀμβρὰμ τὴν Ἰωχαβὲδ θυγατέρα τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἑαυτῷ εἰς γυναῖκα, καὶ ἐγέννησεν αὐτῷ τόν τε Ἀαρὼν καὶ Μωυσῆν καὶ Μαριὰμ τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν· τὰ δὲ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Ἀμβρὰμ ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα δύο ἔτη.	20 καὶ ἔλαβεν Ἀμβρὰμ τὴν Ἰωχαβὲδ θυγατέρα τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἑαυτῷ εἰς γυναῖκα, καὶ ἐγέννησεν αὐτῷ τόν τε Ἀαρὼν καὶ τὸν Μωυσῆν καὶ Μαριὰμ τὴν ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν· τὰ δὲ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Ἀμβρὰμ ἑκατὸν τριακονταδύο ἔτη.
20 And Ambram took Jōchabed, the daughter of his father’s brother, for his own wife, and she bore him both Aarōn and Moses and Mariam, their sister. 21 And the sons of Izhar; Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

23 And Aaron took him Elisheba, daughter of Amminadab, sister of Naashon, to wife; and she gave birth to him Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

23 ἔλαβεν δὲ Ἀαρὼν τὴν Ἐλισαβὲθ θυγατέρα Ἀμιναδὰβ ἀδελφὴν Ναασσὼν αὐτῷ γυναῖκα, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τόν τε Ναδὰβ καὶ Ἀβιοὺδ καὶ Ἐλεάζαρ καὶ Ἰθαμάρ.	23 ἔλαβε δὲ Ἀαρὼν τὴν Ἐλισαβὲθ θυγατέρα Ἀμειναδὰβ ἀδελφὴν Ναασσὼν αὐτῷ γυναῖκα, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τόν τε Ναδὰβ καὶ Ἀβιοὺδ καὶ τὸν Ἐλεάζαρ καὶ Ἰθάμαρ.
23 And Aarōn took to himself to wife Elisabeth daughter of Aminadab sister of Naassōn, and she gave birth to him both Nadab and Abioud, and Eleazar and Ithamar.	23 And Aarōn took to himself to wife Elisabeth daughter of Ameinadab sister of Naassōn, and she gave birth to him both Nadab and Abioud, and Eleazar and Ithamar.

24 And the sons of Korah; Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph: these are the families of the Korhites.

25 And Eleazar Aaron’s son took him one of the daughters of Putiel to wife; and she gave birth to him Phinehas: these are the heads of the fathers of the Levites according to their families.

25 καὶ Ἐλεάζαρ ὁ τοῦ Ἀαρὼν ἔλαβεν τῶν θυγατέρων Φουτιὴλ αὐτῷ γυναῖκα, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φινεές. αὗται αἱ ἀρχαὶ πατριᾶς Λευιτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν.	25 καὶ Ἐλεάζαρ ὁ τοῦ Ἀαρὼν ἔλαβε τῶν θυγατέρων Φουτιὴλ αὐτῷ γυναῖκα, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φινεές. αὗται αἱ ἀρχαὶ πατριᾶς Λευιτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν.
25 And Eleazar, Aarōn’s son, took one of the daughters of Phoutiēl for his wife, and she gave birth to him Phinees.
