1 And Yahweh said to Moses, “See, I have made you a god to Pharaoh; and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.

4 καὶ οὐκ εἰσακούσεται ὑμῶν Φαραώ· καὶ ἐπιβαλῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἐξάξω σὺν δυνάμει μου τὸν λαόν μου τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου σὺν ἐκδικήσει μεγάλῃ,	4 καὶ οὐκ εἰσακούσεται ὑμῶν Φαραώ· καὶ ἐπιβαλῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον καὶ ἐξάξω σὺν δυνάμει μου τὸν λαόν μου τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου σὺν ἐκδικήσει μεγάλῃ.

5 καὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἐκτείνων τὴν χεῖρα ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον, καὶ ἐξάξω τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν.	5 καὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι, ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι Κύριος ἐκτείνων τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπ’ Αἴγυπτον, καὶ ἐξάξω τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ ἐκ μέσου αὐτῶν.

6 And Moses and Aaron did as Yahweh commanded them, so they did.

7 And Moses was 80 years old, and Aaron 83 years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.

9 “When Pharaoh shall speak to you, saying, ‘Show a miracle for you!’ then you shall say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.’ ”

9 καὶ ἐὰν λαλήσῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς Φαραὼ λέγων δότε ἡμῖν σημεῖον ἢ τέρας, καὶ ἐρεῖς Ἀαρὼν τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου λαβὲ τὴν ῥάβδον καὶ ῥῖψον αὐτὴν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἐναντίον Φαραὼ καὶ ἐναντίον τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔσται δράκων.	9 καὶ ἐὰν λαλήσῃ πρὸς ὑμᾶς Φαραὼ λέγων· δότε ἡμῖν σημεῖον ἢ τέρας, καὶ ἐρεῖς Ἀαρὼν τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου· λάβε τὴν ῥάβδον καὶ ῥίψον ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἐναντίον Φαραὼ καὶ ἐναντίον τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἔσται δράκων.

10 And Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so as Yahweh had commanded; and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

11 συνεκάλεσεν δὲ Φαραὼ τοὺς σοφιστὰς Αἰγύπτου καὶ τοὺς φαρμακούς, καὶ ἐποίησαν καὶ οἱ ἐπαοιδοὶ τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ταῖς φαρμακείαις αὐτῶν ὡσαύτως.	11 συνεκάλεσε δὲ Φαραὼ τοὺς σοφιστὰς Αἰγύπτου καὶ τοὺς φαρμακούς, καὶ ἐποίησαν καὶ οἱ ἐπαοιδοὶ τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ταῖς φαρμακείαις αὐτῶν ὡσαύτως.

12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents; but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

13 And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he didn’t listen to them; as Yahweh had said.

14 And Yahweh said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is hardened, he refuses to let the people go.

15 Get you to Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goes out to the water; and you shall stand by the river’s brink for when he comes; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.

15 βάδισον πρὸς Φαραὼ τὸ πρωί· ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ, καὶ στήσῃ συναντῶν αὐτῷ ἐπὶ τὸ χεῖλος τοῦ ποταμοῦ καὶ τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν στραφεῖσαν εἰς ὄφιν λήμψῃ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου.	15 βάδισον πρὸς Φαραὼ τὸ πρωΐ· ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐκπορεύεται ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ, καὶ ἔσῃ συναντῶν αὐτῷ ἐπὶ τὸ χεῖλος τοῦ ποταμοῦ καὶ τὴν ῥάβδον τὴν στραφεῖσαν εἰς ὄφιν λήψῃ ἐν τῇ χειρί σου.
15 Go to Pharaō in the morning. Look! he is going out to the water, and you shall stand, meeting him on the bank of the river; and in your hand, you shall take the rod that was turned into a snake.	15 Go to Pharaō in the morning. 16 And you shall say to him, ‛The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to you, saying, “Send out my people in order that they may serve me in the wilderness. 17 ‘Thus says Yahweh, “In this you shall know that I am Yahweh: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in my hand on the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

17 The Lord says this. By this you shall know that I am the Lord. Look! with the rod that is in my hand I am striking on the water that is in the river, and it shall transform into blood.	17 By this you shall know that I am the Lord. 19 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Take your rod, and stretch out your hand on the waters of Egypt, on their streams, on their rivers, and on their ponds, and on all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.’ ”

19 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν εἰπὸν Ἀαρὼν τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου λαβὲ τὴν ῥάβδον σου καὶ ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρά σου ἐπὶ τὰ ὕδατα Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ποταμοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς διώρυγας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ἕλη αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν συνεστηκὸς ὕδωρ αὐτῶν, καὶ ἔσται αἷμα. καὶ ἐγένετο αἷμα ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Αἰγύπτου ἔν τε τοῖς ξύλοις καὶ ἐν τοῖς λίθοις.	19 εἶπε δὲ Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν· εἰπὸν Ἀαρὼν τῷ ἀδελφῷ σου· λάβε τὴν ῥάβδον σου ἐν τῇ χειρί σου καὶ ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρά σου ἐπὶ τὰ ὕδατα Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ποταμοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰς διώρυγας αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὰ ἕλη αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶν συνεστηκὸς ὕδωρ αὐτῶν, καὶ ἔσται αἷμα, καὶ ἐγένετο αἷμα ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Αἰγύπτου ἐν τε τοῖς ξύλοις καὶ ἐν τοῖς λίθοις.
19 Next the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aarōn, your brother, ‛Take your rod, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Aigypt and over their rivers and over their trenches and over their marshes and over all their collected water, and they shall be blood.’ ” And blood came to be in all Aigypt’s land, both in things made with wood and in things made with stone.	19 Next the Lord said to Moses, “Say to Aarōn, your brother, ‛Take your rod in your hand, and stretch out your hand over the waters of Aigypt and over their rivers and over their trenches and over their marshes and over all their collected water, and they shall be blood.’ ” And blood came to be in all Aigypt’s land, both in things made with wood and in things made with stone.

20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as Yahweh commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

20 And Moses and Aarōn did so just as the Lord commanded them.
