1 [LM 7:26] And Yahweh spoke to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh, and say to him, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.

3 [LM 7:28] And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into your house, and into your bedchamber, and on your bed, and into the house of your servants, and on your people, and into your ovens, and into your kneading troughs.

3 καὶ ἐξερεύξεται ὁ ποταμὸς βατράχους· καὶ ἀναβάντες εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τοὺς οἴκους σου, καὶ εἰς τὰ ταμίεια τῶν κοιτώνων σου, καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν κλινῶν σου, καὶ εἰς τοὺς οἴκους τῶν θεραπόντων σου, καὶ τοῦ λαοῦ σου, καὶ ἐν τοῖς φυράμασίν σου, καὶ ἐν τοῖς κλιβάνοις σου.	3 καὶ ἐξερεύξεται ὁ ποταμὸς βατράχους, καὶ ἀναβάντες εἰσελεύσονται εἰς τοὺς οἴκους σου καὶ εἰς τὰ ταμιεῖα τῶν κοιτώνων σου καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν κλινῶν σου καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς οἴκους τῶν θεραπόντων σου καὶ τοῦ λαοῦ σου καὶ ἐν τοῖς φυράμασί σου καὶ ἐν τοῖς κλιβάνοις σου·

5 [LM 8:1] And Yahweh spoke to Moses, “Say to Aaron, ‘Stretch forth your hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up on the land of Egypt.’ ”

7 [LM 8:3] And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt.

8 [LM 8:4] Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, “Entreat Yahweh, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice to Yahweh.”

8 καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Φαραὼ Μωυσῆν καὶ Ἀαρὼν καὶ εἶπεν εὔξασθε περὶ ἐμοῦ πρὸς κύριον, καὶ περιελέτω τοὺς βατράχους ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐμοῦ λαοῦ, καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ τὸν λαόν, καὶ θύσωσιν κυρίῳ.	8 καὶ ἐκάλεσε Φαραὼ Μωυσῆν καὶ Ἀαρὼν καὶ εἶπε· εὔξασθε περὶ ἐμοῦ πρὸς Κύριον, καὶ περιελέτω τοὺς βατράχους ἀπ’ ἐμοῦ καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ ἐμοῦ λαοῦ, καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ αὐτούς, καὶ θύσωσι τῷ Κυρίῳ.

9 [LM 8:5] And Moses said to Pharaoh, “Glory over me: when shall I entreat for you, and for your servants, and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your houses, that they may remain in the river only?”

10 [LM 8:6] And he said, “Tomorrow.” And he said, “May it be according to your word: that you may know that there is none like to Yahweh our Elohim.

11 καὶ περιαιρεθήσονται οἱ βάτραχοι ἀπὸ σου καὶ ἐκ τῶν οἰκιῶν ὑμῶν καὶ ἐκ τῶν ἐπαύλεων καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν θεραπόντων σου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ λαοῦ σου, πλὴν ἐν τῷ ποταμῷ ὑπολειφθήσονται.	11 καὶ περιαιρεθήσονται οἱ βάτραχοι ἀπὸ σοῦ καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν οἰκιῶν ὑμῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἐπαύλεων καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν θεραπόντων σου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ λαοῦ σου, πλὴν ἐν τῷ ποταμῷ ὑπολειφθήσονται.
11 And the frogs shall be taken away from you and out of your homes and out of your villages and from your attendants and from your people. 12 [LM 8:8] And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh; and Moses cried to Yahweh because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

13 [LM 8:9] And Yahweh did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

15 [LM 8:11] But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and didn’t listen to them; as Yahweh had said.

17 [LM 8:13] And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

19 [LM 8:15] Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, “This is the finger of God”; and Pharaoh’s heart was hardened, and he didn’t listen to them; as Yahweh had said.

19 εἶπαν οὖν οἱ ἐπαοιδοὶ τῷ Φαραὼ δάκτυλος θεοῦ ἐστιν τοῦτο. καὶ ἐσκληρύνθη ἡ καρδία Φαραώ, καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσεν αὐτῶν, καθάπερ ἐλάλησεν κύριος.	19 εἶπαν οὖν οἱ ἐπαοιδοὶ τῷ Φαραώ· δάκτυλος Θεοῦ ἔστι τοῦτο. καὶ ἐσκληρύνθη ἡ καρδία Φαραώ, καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσεν αὐτῶν, καθάπερ ἐλάλησε Κύριος.

20 [LM 8:16] And Yahweh said to Moses, “Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he comes forth to the water; and say to him, ‘Thus says Yahweh, “Let my people go, that they may serve me.

20 εἶπεν δὲ κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν ὄρθρισον τὸ πρωῒ καὶ στῆθι ἐναντίον Φαραώ· καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐξελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ, καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτόν τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐξαπόστειλον τὸν λαόν μου, ἵνα μοι λατρεύσωσιν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ·	20 Εἶπε δὲ Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν· ὄρθρισον τὸ πρωῒ καὶ στῆθι ἐναντίον Φαραώ· καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτὸς ἐξελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὸ ὕδωρ, καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτόν· τάδε λέγει Κύριος· ἐξαπόστειλον τὸν λαόν μου, ἵνα μοι λατρεύσωσιν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ·

21 [LM 8:17] Else, if you won’t let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they are.

24 [LM 8:20] And Yahweh did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants’ houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

26 And Moses said, “It cannot be so! For we would sacrifice to our Lord God the abominations of the Aigyptians. 29 [LM 8:25] And Moses said, “Behold, I go out from you, and I will entreat Yahweh that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow; but don’t let Pharaoh deal craftily any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to Yahweh.”
