1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

3 And Aaron did so; he mounted its lamps over against the candlestick, as Yahweh commanded Moses.

4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, to its shaft, to its flowers, was beaten work; according to the pattern which Yahweh had shown to Moses, so he made the candlestick.

6 “Take the Levites from among the sons of Israēl, and cleanse them.

7 And thus you shall do to them, to cleanse them: sprinkle water of purifying on them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.

7 καὶ οὕτως ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς τὸν ἁγνισμὸν αὐτῶν· περιρρανεῖς αὐτοὺς ὕδωρ ἁγνισμοῦ, καὶ ἐπελεύσεται ξυρὸν ἐπὶ πᾶν τὸ σῶμα αὐτῶν, καὶ πλυνοῦσιν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν καὶ καθαροὶ ἔσονται.	7 καὶ οὕτω ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς τὸν ἁγνισμὸν αὐτῶν· περιρρανεῖς αὐτοὺς ὕδωρ ἁγνισμοῦ, καὶ ἐπελεύσεται ξυρὸν ἐπὶ πᾶν τὸ σῶμα αὐτῶν, καὶ πλυνοῦσι τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν, καὶ καθαροὶ ἔσονται.

8 Then let them take a young bullock with its food offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and you shall take another young bullock for a sin offering.

8 Καὶ λήμψονται μόσχον ἕνα ἐκ βοῶν καὶ τούτου θυσίαν σεμιδάλεως ἀναπεποιημένην ἐν ἐλαίῳ, καὶ μόσχον ἐνιαύσιον ἐκ βοῶν λήμψῃ περὶ ἁμαρτίας.	8 καὶ λήψονται μόσχον ἕνα ἐκ βοῶν καὶ τούτου θυσίαν σεμίδαλιν ἀναπεποιημένην ἐν ἐλαίῳ, καὶ μόσχον ἐνιαύσιον ἐκ βοῶν λήψῃ περὶ ἁμαρτίας.

9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tent of the congregation; and you shall gather the whole assembly of the sons of Israēl together.

10 And you shall bring the Levites before Yahweh; and the sons of Israēl shall put their hands on the Levites.

11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before Yahweh for an offering of the sons of Israēl, that they may perform the service of Yahweh.

14 Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the sons of Israēl; and the Levites shall be mine.

16 For they are entirely given to me from among the sons of Israēl; instead of such as opens every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the sons of Israēl, have I taken them to me.

16 ὅτι ἀπόδομα ἀποδεδομένοι οὗτοί μοί εἰσιν ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ· ἀντὶ τῶν διανοιγόντων πᾶσαν μήτραν πρωτοτόκων πάντων ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ εἴληφα αὐτοὺς ἐμοί.	16 ὅτι ἀπόδομα ἀποδεδομένοι οὗτοί μοί εἰσιν ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ· ἀντὶ τῶν διανοιγόντων πᾶσαν μήτραν πρωτοτόκων πάντων ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ εἴληφα αὐτοὺς ἐμοί.
16 for these have been given back to me as a reparation from the midst of Israēl’s sons. 18 And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the sons of Israēl.

19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the sons of Israēl, to do the service of the sons of Israēl in the tent of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the sons of Israēl; that there may be no plague among the sons of Israēl, when the sons of Israēl come near to the sanctuary.”

19 καὶ ἀπέδωκα τοὺς Λευίτας ἀπόδομα δεδομένους Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ προσεγγίζων πρὸς τὰ ἅγια. –	19 καὶ ἀπέδωκα τοὺς Λευίτας ἀπόδομα δεδομένους Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ προσεγγίζων πρὸς τὰ ἅγια.

20 And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the sons of Israēl, did to the Levites according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the sons of Israēl did to them.

21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before Yahweh; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.

22 And after that, the Levites entered to do their service in the tent of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons; as Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.

23 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

24 “This is it that belongs to the Levites; from 25 years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service of the tent of the congregation.

24 Τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ περὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν· ἀπὸ πεντεκαιεικοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω εἰσελεύσονται ἐνεργεῖν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου·	24 τοῦτό ἔστι τὸ περὶ τῶν Λευιτῶν· ἀπὸ πέντε καὶ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω εἰσελεύσονται ἐνεργεῖν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου·

25 And from the age of 50 years they shall cease waiting on its service, and shall serve no more.

26 But shall minister with their brothers in the tent of the congregation, to keep the duties, and shall do no service. Thus you shall do to the Levites touching their duties.”
