1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they came out of the land of Egypt, saying,

4 And Moses spoke to the sons of Israēl, that they should keep the Passover.

6 And there were certain men who were defiled by the dead body of a man, so that they couldn’t keep the Passover on that day; and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day.

7 And those men said to him, “We are defiled by the dead body of a man; therefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of Yahweh in its appointed season among the sons of Israēl?”

7 And those men said to him, “We are unclean regarding a soul of a man. 8 And Moses said to them, “Stand still, and I will hear what Yahweh will command concerning you.”

13 But the man who is clean, and is not on a journey, and fails to keep the Passover, even the same person shall be cut off from among his people; because he didn’t bring the offering of Yahweh in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.

15 And on the day that the tent was reared up the cloud covered the tent, namely, the tent of the testimony; and at evening there was on the tent as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.

19 And when the cloud remained long on the tent many days, then the sons of Israēl kept the duties of Yahweh, and didn’t journey.

22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud remained on the tent, remaining on it, the sons of Israēl stayed in their tents, and didn’t journey; but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
