לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמֹור לְדָוִד׃

1 Have mercy on me, Oh God, according to your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

חָנֵּנִי אֱלֹהִים כְּחַסְדֶּךָ כְּרֹב רַחֲמֶיךָ מְחֵה פְשָׁעָי׃

הַרְבֵּה כַּבְּסֵנִי מֵעֲוֹנִי וּמֵחַטָּאתִי טַהֲרֵנִי׃

לְךָ לְבַדְּךָ חָטָאתִי וְהָרַע בְּעֵינֶיךָ עָשִׂיתִי לְמַעַן תִּצְדַּק בְּדָבְרֶךָ תִּזְכֶּה בְשָׁפְטֶךָ׃

5 Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden part you shall make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

תְּחַטְּאֵנִי בְאֵזֹוב וְאֶטְהָר תְּכַבְּסֵנִי וּמִשֶּׁלֶג אַלְבִּין׃

הַסְתֵּר פָּנֶיךָ מֵחֲטָאָי וְכָל ־ עֲוֹנֹתַי מְחֵה׃

לֵב טָהֹור בְּרָא ־ לִי אֱלֹהִים וְרוּחַ נָכֹון חַדֵּשׁ בְּקִרְבִּי׃

אֲלַמְּדָה פֹשְׁעִים דְּרָכֶיךָ וְחַטָּאִים אֵלֶיךָ יָשׁוּבוּ׃

17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, Oh God, you will not despise.

זִבְחֵי אֱלֹהִים רוּחַ נִשְׁבָּרָה לֵב ־ נִשְׁבָּר וְנִדְכֶּה אֱלֹהִים לֹא תִבְזֶה׃
