1 The mighty God, even Yahweh, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun to the going down of it.

4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.

7 Hear, Oh my people, and I will speak; Oh Israēl, and I will testify against you; I am God, even your God.

8 I will not reprove you for your sacrifices or your burned offerings, to have been continually before me.

9 I will take no bullock out of your house, nor male goats out of your folds.

16 But to the wicked God says, What have you to do to declare my statutes, or that you should take my covenant in your mouth?

21 These things have you done, and I kept silence; you thought that I was altogether such an one as yourself; but I will reprove you, and set them in order before your eyes.

22 Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
