Leviticus

1 And it happened on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israēl;

2 And he said to Aaron, “Take a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before Yahweh.

5 And they brought what Moses commanded before the tent of the congregation; and all the congregation drew near and stood before Yahweh.

5 καὶ ἔλαβον, καθὸ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς, ἀπέναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ προσῆλθεν πᾶσα συναγωγὴ καὶ ἔστησαν ἔναντι κυρίου.	5 καὶ ἔλαβον, καθὸ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς, ἀπέναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ προσῆλθε πᾶσα συναγωγὴ καὶ ἔστησαν ἔναντι Κυρίου.

6 And Moses said, “This is the thing which Yahweh commanded that you should do; and the glory of Yahweh shall appear to you.

7 And Moses said to Aaron, “Go to the altar, and offer your sin offering, and your burnt offering, and make an atonement for yourself, and for the people; and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as Yahweh commanded.”

7 And Moses said to Aarōn, “Approach to the altar, and do the offering for your sin and your whole burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and your household. 8 Aaron therefore went to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.

9 And the sons of Aaron brought the blood to him; and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar.

9 καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἀαρὼν τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ ἔβαψεν τὸν δάκτυλον εἰς τὸ αἷμα καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὰ κέρατα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ τὸ αἷμα ἐξέχεεν ἐπὶ τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου·	9 καὶ προσήνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἀαρὼν τὸ αἷμα πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ ἔβαψε τὸν δάκτυλον εἰς τὸ αἷμα καὶ ἐπέθηκεν ἐπὶ τὰ κέρατα τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου καὶ τὸ αἷμα ἐξέχεεν ἐπὶ τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου·

11 And he burned the meat and the hide with fire outside the camp.

12 And he killed the burnt offering; and Aaron’s sons presented to him the blood, which he sprinkled all around on the altar.

13 And they presented the burnt offering to him, with the pieces of it, and the head; and he burned them on the altar.

14 And he washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them on the burnt offering on the altar.

15 And he brought the people’s offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, as the first.

16 And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.

17 And he brought the food offering, and took a handful of it, and burned it on the altar, beside the burned sacrifice of the morning.

18 And he slaughtered the calf and the ram of the sacrifice of salvation that was from the people. 19 καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἀπὸ τοῦ μόσχου καὶ τοῦ κριοῦ, τὴν ὀσφὴν καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφροὺς καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ’ αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἥπατος,	19 καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἀπὸ τοῦ μόσχου καὶ τοῦ κριοῦ, τὴν ὀσφὺν καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφρούς, καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ’ αὐτῶν καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἥπατος,

20 And they put the fat on the breasts, and he burned the fat on the altar.

22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.

22 καὶ ἐξάρας Ἀαρὼν τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς· καὶ κατέβη ποιήσας τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ τοῦ σωτηρίου.	22 καὶ ἐξάρας Ἀαρὼν τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν, εὐλόγησεν αὐτούς· καὶ κατέβη ποιήσας τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ τοῦ σωτηρίου.
22 And after Aarōn raised his hands towards the people, he blessed them. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people; and the glory of Yahweh appeared to all the people.

24 And there came a fire out from before Yahweh, and consumed on the altar the burnt offering and the fat; when all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.

24 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ παρὰ κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγεν τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου, τά τε ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ στέατα, καὶ εἶδεν πᾶς ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἐξέστη καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον.	24 καὶ ἐξῆλθε πῦρ παρὰ Κυρίου καὶ κατέφαγε τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου, τά τε ὁλοκαυτώματα καὶ τὰ στέατα, καὶ εἶδε πᾶς ὁ λαὸς καὶ ἐξέστη καὶ ἔπεσαν ἐπὶ πρόσωπον.
