1 He who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

יֹשֵׁב בְּסֵתֶר עֶלְיֹון בְּצֵל שַׁדַּי יִתְלֹונָן׃

אֹמַר לַיהוָה מַחְסִי וּמְצוּדָתִי אֱלֹהַי אֶבְטַח ־ בֹּו׃

בְּאֶבְרָתֹו יָסֶךְ לָךְ וְתַחַת ־ כְּנָפָיו תֶּחְסֶה צִנָּה וְסֹחֵרָה אֲמִתֹּו׃

4 ἐν τοῖς μεταφρένοις αὐτοῦ ἐπισκιάσει σοι, καὶ ὑπὸ τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτοῦ ἐλπιεῖς· ὅπλῳ κυκλώσει σὲ ἡ ἀλήθεια αὐτοῦ.	4 ἐν τοῖς μεταφρένοις αὐτοῦ ἐπισκιάσει σοι, καὶ ὑπὸ τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτοῦ ἐλπιεῖς· ὅπλῳ κυκλώσει σε ἡ ἀλήθεια αὐτοῦ.

5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day;

לֹא ־ תִירָא מִפַּחַד לָיְלָה מֵחֵץ יָעוּף יֹומָם׃

מִדֶּבֶר בָּאֹפֶל יַהֲלֹךְ מִקֶּטֶב יָשׁוּד צָהֳרָיִם׃

7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and 10,000 at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.

יִפֹּל מִצִּדְּךָ אֶלֶף וּרְבָבָה מִימִינֶךָ אֵלֶיךָ לֹא יִגָּשׁ׃

רַק בְּעֵינֶיךָ תַבִּיט וְשִׁלֻּמַת רְשָׁעִים תִּרְאֶה׃

9 Because you have made Yahweh, who is my refuge, even the most High, your habitation;

10 There shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling.

לֹא ־ תְאֻנֶּה אֵלֶיךָ רָעָה וְנֶגַע לֹא ־ יִקְרַב בְּאָהֳלֶךָ׃

10 οὐ προσελεύσεται πρὸς σὲ κακά, καὶ μάστιξ οὐκ ἐγγιεῖ τῷ σκηνώματί σου,	10 οὐ προσελεύσεται πρὸς σὲ κακά, καὶ μάστιξ οὐκ ἐγγιεῖ ἐν τῷ σκηνώματί σου.

11 For he shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.

כִּי מַלְאָכָיו יְצַוֶּה ־ לָּךְ לִשְׁמָרְךָ בְּכָל ־ דְּרָכֶיךָ׃

12 They shall bear you up in their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

עַל ־ שַׁחַל וָפֶתֶן תִּדְרֹךְ תִּרְמֹס כְּפִיר וְתַנִּין׃

14 Because he has set his love on me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

יִקְרָאֵנִי וְאֶעֱנֵהוּ עִמֹּו ־ אָנֹכִי בְצָרָה אֲחַלְּצֵהוּ וַאֲכַבְּדֵהוּ׃

15 ἐπικαλέσεταί με, καὶ εἰσακούσομαι αὐτοῦ, μετ’ αὐτοῦ εἰμι ἐν θλίψει καὶ ἐξελοῦμαι καὶ δοξάσω αὐτόν.	15 κεκράξεται πρός με, καὶ ἐπακούσομαι αὐτοῦ, μετ’ αὐτοῦ εἰμι ἐν θλίψει· ἐξελοῦμαι αὐτόν, καὶ δοξάσω αὐτόν.

אֹרֶךְ יָמִים אַשְׂבִּיעֵהוּ וְאַרְאֵהוּ בִּישׁוּעָתִי׃
