Exodus

1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the sons of Israēl together, and said to them, “These are the words which Yahweh has commanded, that you should do.

2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you a holy day, a sabbath of rest to Yahweh; whoever works in it shall be put to death.

2 ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔργα, τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ κατάπαυσις, ἅγιον, σάββατα, ἀνάπαυσις κυρίῳ· πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν ἔργον ἐν αὐτῇ τελευτάτω.	2 ἓξ ἡμέρας ποιήσεις ἔργα, τῇ δὲ ἡμέρᾳ τῇ ἑβδόμῃ κατάπαυσις, ἅγια σάββατα, ἀνάπαυσις Κυρίῳ· πᾶς ὁ ποιῶν ἔργον ἐν αὐτῇ τελευτάτω.
2 You shall do work six days, but on the seventh day there is a rest, a dedicated day, sabbath, a ceasing for the Lord. 4 And Moses spoke to all the congregation of the sons of Israēl, saying, “This is the thing which Yahweh commanded, saying,

5 ‘Take from among you an offering to Yahweh. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of Yahweh; gold, and silver, and bronze,

5 Take an initial deduction from among yourselves for the Lord. 7 And rams’ skins dyed red, and badgers’ skins, and shittim wood,

8 And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

10 [LXX 35:9] And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that Yahweh has commanded;

16 [LXX 35:15] The altar of burnt offering, with his bronze grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

17 [LXX 35:16] The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

18 [LXX 35:17] and the altar and all its equipment;	18 [LXX 35:17] and the holy robes of Aarōn, the priest, and the robes that they will minister in

19 [LXX 35:18] The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest’s office.’ ”

19 [LXX 35:18] καὶ τὰς στολὰς τὰς ἁγίας Ἀαρὼν τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ τὰς στολάς, ἐν αἷς λειτουργήσουσιν ἐν αὐταῖς, καὶ τοὺς χιτῶνας τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἀαρὼν τῆς ἱερατείας καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον τοῦ χρίσματος καὶ τὸ θυμίαμα τῆς συνθέσεως.	19 [LXX 35:18] καὶ τοὺς χιτῶνας τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἀαρὼν τῆς ἱερατείας καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον τοῦ χρίσματος καὶ τὸ θυμίαμα τῆς συνθέσεως.

20 And all the congregation of the sons of Israēl departed from the presence of Moses.

21 And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, and they brought Yahweh’s offering to the work of the tent of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

21 καὶ ἤνεγκαν ἕκαστος ὧν ἔφερεν αὐτῶν ἡ καρδία, καὶ ὅσοις ἔδοξεν τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτῶν, ἤνεγκαν ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ εἰς πάντα τὰ κάτεργα αὐτῆς καὶ εἰς πάσας τὰς στολὰς τοῦ ἁγίου.	21 καὶ ἤνεγκαν ἕκαστος, ὧν ἔφερεν ἡ καρδία αὐτῶν, καὶ ὅσοις ἔδοξε τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτῶν, ἤνεγκαν ἀφαίρεμα Κυρίῳ εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ εἰς πάντα τὰ κάτεργα αὐτῆς, καὶ εἰς πάσας τὰς στολὰς τοῦ ἁγίου.

22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold; and every man who offered offered an offering of gold to Yahweh.

22 καὶ ἤνεγκαν οἱ ἄνδρες παρὰ τῶν γυναικῶν· πᾶς, ᾧ ἔδοξεν τῇ διανοίᾳ, ἤνεγκαν σφραγῖδας καὶ ἐνώτια καὶ δακτυλίους καὶ ἐμπλόκια καὶ περιδέξια, πᾶν σκεῦος χρυσοῦν, καὶ πάντες, ὅσοι ἤνεγκαν ἀφαιρέματα χρυσίου κυρίῳ.	22 καὶ ἤνεγκαν οἱ ἄνδρες παρὰ τῶν γυναικῶν, πᾶς ᾧ ἔδοξε τῇ διανοίᾳ, ἤνεγκαν σφραγῖδας καὶ ἐνώτια καὶ δακτυλίους καὶ ἐμπλόκια καὶ περιδέξια, πᾶν σκεῦος χρυσοῦν, καὶ πάντες ὅσοι ἤνεγκαν ἀφαιρέματα χρυσίου Κυρίῳ.
22 And the men brought from their wives. Everyone to whose mind it seemed good brought seals and earrings and finger-rings and hair clasps and bracelets, every gold implement, and all, as many as brought initial deductions of gold for the Lord.	22 And the men brought from their wives. 23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats’ hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers’ skins, brought them.

24 Everyone who offered an offering of silver and bronze brought Yahweh’s offering; and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

24 καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἀφαιρῶν ἀφαίρεμα ἀργύριον καὶ χαλκὸν ἤνεγκαν τὰ ἀφαιρέματα κυρίῳ, καὶ παρ’ οἷς εὑρέθη ξύλα ἄσηπτα εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς κατασκευῆς, ἤνεγκαν.	24 καὶ πᾶς ὁ ἀφαιρῶν ἀφαίρεμα, ἤνεγκαν ἀργύριον καὶ χαλκόν, τὰ ἀφαιρέματα Κυρίῳ, καὶ παρ’ οἷς εὑρέθη ξύλα ἄσηπτα εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς παρασκευῆς ἤνεγκαν.

26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats’ hair.

27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

29 The sons of Israēl brought a willing offering to Yahweh, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which Yahweh had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

29 καὶ πᾶς ἀνὴρ καὶ γυνή, ὧν ἔφερεν ἡ διάνοια αὐτῶν εἰσελθόντας ποιεῖν πάντα τὰ ἔργα, ὅσα συνέταξεν κύριος ποιῆσαι αὐτὰ διὰ Μωυσῆ, ἤνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἀφαίρεμα κυρίῳ.	29 καὶ πᾶς ἀνὴρ καὶ γυνή, ὧν ἔφερεν ἡ διάνοια αὐτῶν εἰσελθόντας ποιεῖν πάντα τὰ ἔργα, ὅσα συνέταξε Κύριος ποιῆσαι αὐτὰ διά Μωυσῆ, ἤνεγκαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἀφαίρεμα Κυρίῳ.

30 And Moses said to the sons of Israēl, “See, Yahweh has called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

31 And he has filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
