1 And Israēl abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit prostitution with the daughters of Mōab.

13 καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ καὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ μετ’ αὐτὸν διαθήκη ἱερατείας αἰωνία, ἀνθ’ ὧν ἐζήλωσεν τῷ θεῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξιλάσατο περὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ.	13 καὶ ἔσται αὐτῷ καὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτοῦ μετ’ αὐτὸν διαθήκη ἱερατείας αἰωνία, ἀνθ’ ὧν ἐζήλωσε τῷ Θεῷ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐξιλάσατο περὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ.

14 Now the name of the Israēlite who was slain, even who was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a chief house among the Simeonites.

16 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

18 ὅτι ἐχθραίνουσιν αὐτοὶ ὑμῖν ἐν δολιότητι, ὅσα δολιοῦσιν ὑμᾶς διὰ Φογὼρ καὶ διὰ Χασβὶ θυγατέρα ἄρχοντος Μαδιὰν ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν τὴν πεπληγυῖαν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς πληγῆς διὰ Φογώρ.	18 ὅτι ἐχθραίνουσιν αὐτοὶ ὑμῖν ἐν δολιότητι, ὅσα δολιοῦσιν ὑμᾶς διὰ Φογὼρ καὶ διὰ Χασβὶ θυγατέρα ἄρχοντος Μαδιὰμ ἀδελφὴν αὐτῶν τὴν πεπληγυῖαν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ τῆς πληγῆς διὰ Φογώρ.
