Leviticus

1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them,

3 Whatever parts the hoof, and is cloven-footed, and chews the cud, among the beasts, that you shall eat.

11 They shall be even an abomination to you; you shall not eat of their meat, but you shall have their carcasses in abomination.

12 Whatever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination to you.

14 And the vulture, and the kite after its species;

16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after its species,

16 καὶ στρουθὸν καὶ γλαῦκα καὶ λάρον καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτῷ καὶ ἱέρακα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτῷ	16 καὶ πάντα κόρακα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτῷ καὶ ἱέρακα καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτῷ
16 and sparrow and owl and sea gull and those similar to it and a hawk and those similar to it	16 and every raven, and those similar to it, and the hawk and those similar to it,

17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,

17 καὶ νυκτικόρακα καὶ καταρράκτην καὶ ἶβιν	17 καὶ νυκτικόρακα καὶ καταρράκτην καὶ ἶβιν

18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,

18 καὶ πορφυρίωνα καὶ πελεκᾶνα καὶ κύκνον	18 καὶ πορφυρίωνα καὶ πελεκᾶνα καὶ κύκνον

19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

19 καὶ γλαῦκα καὶ ἐρωδιὸν καὶ χαραδριὸν καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτῷ καὶ ἔποπα καὶ νυκτερίδα. –	19 καὶ ἐρωδιὸν καὶ χαραδριόν, καὶ τὰ ὅμοια αὐτῷ καὶ ἔποπα καὶ νυκτερίδα

20 All fowls that creep, going on all four, shall be an abomination to you.

21 Yet these may you eat of every flying creeping thing that goes on all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap in addition on the earth;

21 ἀλλὰ ταῦτα φάγεσθε ἀπὸ τῶν ἑρπετῶν τῶν πετεινῶν, ἃ πορεύεται ἐπὶ τέσσαρα· ἃ ἔχει σκέλη ἀνώτερον τῶν ποδῶν αὐτοῦ πηδᾶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.	21 ἀλλὰ ταῦτα φάγεσθε ἀπὸ τῶν ἑρπετῶν τῶν πετεινῶν, ἃ πορεύεται ἐπὶ τέσσαρα, ἃ ἔχει σκέλη ἀνώτερον τῶν ποδῶν αὐτοῦ, πηδᾶν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

22 Even these of them you may eat; the locust after its species, and the bald locust after its species, and the beetle after its species, and the grasshopper after its species.

23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination to you.

24 And for these you shall be unclean; whoever touches the carcass of them shall be unclean until the evening.

25 And whoever carries any of their carcasses shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the evening.

26 The carcasses of every beast which divides the hoof, and is not cloven-footed, nor chews the cud, are unclean to you; everyone who touches them shall be unclean.

26 And among all the animals the one that divides the hoof and has a cloven hoof but doesn’t chew the cud; they shall be unclean to you. 27 And every animal that walks on paws among any animals that walk on all fours shall be unclean to you. 29 These also shall be unclean to you among the creeping things that creep on the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after its species,

29 Καὶ ταῦτα ὑμῖν ἀκάθαρτα ἀπὸ τῶν ἑρπετῶν τῶν ἑρπόντων ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς· ἡ γαλῆ καὶ ὁ μῦς καὶ ὁ κροκόδειλος ὁ χερσαῖος,	29 Καὶ ταῦτα ὑμῖν ἀκάθαρτα ἀπὸ τῶν ἑρπετῶν τῶν ἐπί τῆς γῆς· ἡ γαλῆ καὶ ὁ μῦς καὶ ὁ κροκόδειλος ὁ χερσαῖος,

30 And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
