Job

1 And Job answered and said,

וַיַּעַן אִיֹּוב וַיֹּאמַר׃

2 No doubt but you are the people, and wisdom shall die with you.

5 He who is ready to slip with his feet is as a lamp despised in the thought of him who is at ease.

לַפִּיד בּוּז לְעַשְׁתּוּת שַׁאֲנָן נָכֹון לְמֹועֲדֵי רָגֶל׃

6 The tents of robbers prosper, and they who provoke God are secure; into whose hand God brings abundantly.

יִשְׁלָיוּ אֹהָלִים לְשֹׁדְדִים וּבַטֻּחֹות לְמַרְגִּיזֵי אֵל לַאֲשֶׁר הֵבִיא אֱלֹוהַּ בְּיָדֹו׃

6 οὐ μὴν δὲ ἀλλὰ μηδεὶς πεποιθέτω πονηρὸς ὢν ἀθῷος ἔσεσθαι, ὅσοι παροργίζουσιν τὸν κύριον, ὡς οὐχὶ καὶ ἔτασις αὐτῶν ἔσται.	6 ὅσοι παροργίζουσι τὸν Κύριον, ὡς οὐχὶ καὶ ἔτασις αὐτῶν ἔσται.

9 Who doesn’t know in all these that the hand of Yahweh has wrought this?
