I Kings

1 So king Solomon was king over all Israēl.

וַיְהִי הַמֶּלֶךְ שְׁלֹמֹה מֶלֶךְ עַל ־ כָּל ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל׃ ס

וּבְנָיָהוּ בֶן ־ יְהֹויָדָע עַל ־ הַצָּבָא וְצָדֹוק וְאֶבְיָתָר כֹּהֲנִים׃ ס

4 καὶ Σαδοὺχ καὶ Ἀβιαθὰρ ἱερεῖς	4 καὶ Βαναίας υἱὸς Ἰωδαὲ ἐπὶ τῆς δυνάμεως καὶ Σαδὼκ καὶ Ἀβιάθαρ ἱερεῖς

וַעֲזַרְיָהוּ בֶן ־ נָתָן עַל ־ הַנִּצָּבִים וְזָבוּד בֶּן ־ נָתָן כֹּהֵן רֵעֶה הַמֶּלֶךְ׃

7 And Solomon had twelve officers over all Israēl, who provided food for the king and his household: each man his month in a year made provision.

וְלִשְׁלֹמֹה שְׁנֵים ־ עָשָׂר נִצָּבִים עַל ־ כָּל ־ יִשְׂרָאֵל וְכִלְכְּלוּ אֶת ־ הַמֶּלֶךְ וְאֶת ־ בֵּיתֹו חֹדֶשׁ בַּשָּׁנָה יִהְיֶה עַל ־ אֶחָד לְכַלְכֵּל׃ ס

7 Καὶ τῷ Σαλωμὼν δώδεκα καθεσταμένοι ἐπὶ πάντα Ἰσραὴλ χορηγεῖν τῷ βασιλεῖ καὶ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ· μῆνα ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ ἐγίνετο ἐπὶ τὸν ἕνα χορηγεῖν.	7 καὶ τῷ Σαλωμὼν δώδεκα καθεσταμένοι ἐπὶ πάντας Ἰσραὴλ χορηγεῖν τῷ βασιλεῖ καὶ τῷ οἴκῳ αὐτοῦ· μῆνα ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ ἐγίνετο ἐπὶ τὸν ἕνα χορηγεῖν.

בֶּן ־ אֲבִינָדָב כָּל ־ נָפַת דֹּאר טָפַת בַּת ־ שְׁלֹמֹה הָיְתָה לֹּו לְאִשָּׁה׃ ס

בַּעֲנָא בֶּן ־ אֲחִילוּד תַּעְנַךְ וּמְגִדֹּו וְכָל ־ בֵּית שְׁאָן אֲשֶׁר אֵצֶל צָרְתַנָה מִתַּחַת לְיִזְרְעֶאל מִבֵּית שְׁאָן עַד אָבֵל מְחֹולָה עַד מֵעֵבֶר לְיָקְמֳעָם׃ ס

12 Βακχὰ υἱὸς Ἀχιλὶδ Θαανὰχ καὶ Μεκεδὼ καὶ πᾶς ὁ οἶκος Σὰν ὁ παρὰ Σεσαθὰν ὑποκάτω τοῦ Ἐσραὲ καὶ ἐκ Βαισαφοὺδ Ἐβελμαωλὰ ἕως Μαεβὲρ Λουκάμ, εἷς·	12 Βαανὰ υἱὸς Ἀχιλὶδ Θαανὰχ καὶ Μαγεδδὼ καὶ πᾶς ὁ οἶκος Σὰν ὁ παρὰ Σεσαθὰν ὑποκάτω τοῦ Ἐσραὲ καὶ ἐκ Βηθσὰν ἕως Σαβελμαουλᾶ, ἕως Μαεβὲρ Λουκάμ, εἷς·

בֶּן ־ גֶּבֶר בְּרָמֹת גִּלְעָד לֹו חַוֹּת יָאִיר בֶּן ־ מְנַשֶּׁה אֲשֶׁר בַּגִּלְעָד לֹו חֶבֶל אַרְגֹּב אֲשֶׁר בַּבָּשָׁן שִׁשִּׁים עָרִים גְּדֹלֹות חֹומָה וּבְרִיחַ נְחֹשֶׁת׃ ס

13 υἱὸς Γαβὲρ ἐν Ῥεμὰθ Γαλαάδ, τούτῳ σχοίνισμα Ἐρεγαβὰ ἣ ἐν τῇ Βασάν, ἑξήκοντα πόλεις μεγάλαι τειχήρεις καὶ μοχλοὶ χαλκοῖ εἷς·	13 υἱὸς Γαβὲρ ἐν Ῥεμὰθ Γαλαάδ, τούτῳ σχοίνισμα Ἐρεγαβά, ἣ ἐν τῇ Βασάν, ἑξήκοντα πόλεις μεγάλαι τειχήρεις καὶ μοχλοὶ χαλκοῖ, εἷς·

15 Ahimaaz was in Naphtali; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife.

אֲחִימַעַץ בְּנַפְתָּלִי גַּם ־ הוּא לָקַח אֶת ־ בָּשְׂמַת בַּת ־ שְׁלֹמֹה לְאִשָּׁה׃

15 Ἀχιμαὰς ἐν Νεφθαλί, καὶ οὗτος ἔλαβεν τὴν Βασεμμὰθ θυγατέρα Σαλωμὼν εἰς γυναῖκα, εἷς·	15 Ἀχιμαὰς ἐν Νεφθαλίμ, καὶ οὗτος ἔλαβε τὴν Βασεμμὰθ θυγατέρα Σαλωμὼν εἰς γυναῖκα, εἷς·

גֶּבֶר בֶּן ־ אֻרִי בְּאֶרֶץ גִּלְעָד אֶרֶץ סִיחֹון מֶלֶךְ הָאֱמֹרִי וְעֹג מֶלֶךְ הַבָּשָׁן וּנְצִיב אֶחָד אֲשֶׁר בָּאָרֶץ׃

20 καὶ Ἰούδα καὶ Ἰσραὴλ πολλοὶ σφόδρα ὡς ἡ ἄμμος ἡ ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης εἰς πλῆθος, ἐσθίοντες καὶ πίνοντες καὶ χαίροντες·	20 Καὶ Ἰούδα καὶ Ἰσραὴλ πολλοὶ ὡς ἡ ἄμμος ἡ ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης εἰς πλῆθος ἔσθοντες καὶ πίνοντες καὶ εὐφραινόμενοι.

21 [M 5:1] And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river to the land of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.

וּשְׁלֹמֹה הָיָה מֹושֵׁל בְּכָל ־ הַמַּמְלָכֹות מִן ־ הַנָּהָר אֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְעַד גְּבוּל מִצְרָיִם מַגִּשִׁים מִנְחָה וְעֹבְדִים אֶת ־ שְׁלֹמֹה כָּל ־ יְמֵי חַיָּיו׃ פ

21 καὶ Σαλωμὼν ἦν ἄρχων ἐν πάσαις ταῖς βασιλείαις, καὶ ἦσαν προσφέροντες δῶρα καὶ ἐδούλευον τῷ Σαλωμὼν πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς αὐτοῦ.	21 N/A

22 [M 5:2] And Solomon’s provision for one day was 30 measures of fine flour, and 60 measures of meal,

וַיְהִי לֶחֶם ־ שְׁלֹמֹה לְיֹום אֶחָד שְׁלֹשִׁים כֹּר סֹלֶת וְשִׁשִּׁים כֹּר קָמַח׃

22 καὶ τοῦτο τὸ ἄριστον τῷ Σαλωμών· τριάκοντα κόροι σεμιδάλεως καὶ ἑξήκοντα κόροι ἀλεύρου κεκοπανισμένου,	22 καὶ ταῦτα τὰ δέοντα τῷ Σαλωμὼν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ μιᾷ· τριάκοντα κόροι σεμιδάλεως καὶ ἑξήκοντα κόροι ἀλεύρου κεκοπανισμένου.

23 [M 5:3] Ten fat oxen, and 20 oxen out of the pastures, and 100 sheep, beside harts, and gazelles, and fallow deer, and fatted fowl.

עֲשָׂרָה בָקָר בְּרִאִים וְעֶשְׂרִים בָּקָר רְעִי וּמֵאָה צֹאן לְבַד מֵאַיָּל וּצְבִי וְיַחְמוּר וּבַרְבֻּרִים אֲבוּסִים׃

23 δέκα μόσχοι ἐκλεκτοὶ καὶ εἴκοσι βόες νομάδες καὶ ἑκατὸν πρόβατα ἐκτὸς ἐλάφων καὶ δορκάδων καὶ ὀρνίθων ἐκλεκτῶν νομάδων.	23 καὶ δέκα μόσχοι ἐκλεκτοὶ καὶ εἴκοσι βόες νομάδες καὶ ἑκατὸν πρόβατα ἐκτὸς ἐλάφων καὶ δορκάδων ἐκλεκτῶν, σιτευτά·

24 [M 5:4] For he had dominion over all the region on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river; and he had peace on all sides all around him.

כִּי ־ הוּא רֹדֶה בְּכָל ־ עֵבֶר הַנָּהָר מִתִּפְסַח וְעַד ־ עַזָּה בְּכָל ־ מַלְכֵי עֵבֶר הַנָּהָר וְשָׁלֹום הָיָה לֹו מִכָּל ־ עֲבָרָיו מִסָּבִיב׃

24 ὅτι ἦν ἄρχων πέραν τοῦ ποταμοῦ, καὶ ἦν αὐτῷ εἰρήνη ἐκ πάντων τῶν μερῶν κυκλόθεν.	24 ὅτι ἦν ἄρχων πέραν ποταμοῦ, καὶ ἦν αὐτῷ εἰρήνη ἐκ πάντων τῶν μερῶν κυκλόθεν.

25 [M 5:5] And Judah and Israēl dwelt safely, every man under his vine and under his fig tree, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, all the days of Solomon.
