Ezekiel

1 You also, son of man, take you a tile, and lay it before you, and portray on it the city, even Jerusalem.

3 Moreover take you to you an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city; and set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israēl.

4 Lie you also on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israēl on it: according to the number of the days that you shall lie on it you shall bear their iniquity.

6 And when you have accomplished them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah 40 days: I have appointed you each day for a year.

6 and you shall complete these things, and you shall lie on your right side and take the injustices of the house of Jouda for 40 days. 7 Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and your arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.

8 And, behold, I will lay bands on you, and you shall not turn you from one side to another, till you have ended the days of your siege.

12 And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight.

13 And Yahweh said, Even thus shall the sons of Israēl eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, to which I will drive them.

14 Then said I, Ah Adonai Yahweh! behold, my soul hasn’t been polluted; for from my youth up even till now I haven’t eaten of what dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

15 Then he said to me, Lo, I have given you cow’s dung for man’s dung, and you shall prepare your bread with it.

16 Moreover he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem; and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment.

16 καὶ εἶπεν πρός με υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ συντρίβω στήριγμα ἄρτου ἐν Ἱερουσαλήμ, καὶ φάγονται ἄρτον ἐν σταθμῷ καὶ ἐν ἐνδείᾳ καὶ ὕδωρ ἐν μέτρῳ καὶ ἐν ἀφανισμῷ πίονται,	16 καὶ εἶπε πρός με· υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ συντρίβω στήριγμα ἄρτου ἐν Ἱερουσαλήμ, καὶ φάγονται ἄρτον ἐν σταθμῷ καὶ ἐν ἐνδείᾳ καὶ ὕδωρ ἐν μέτρῳ καὶ ἐν ἀφανισμῷ πίονται,
16 And he said to me, Son of man, look! I am breaking the support of bread in Jerousalēm, and they shall eat bread by weight and in need and drink water in measure and in extermination	16 And he said to me, Son of man, look! 17 That they may want bread and water, and be astonished one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
