(Mark 9:2‑13; Luke 9:28‑36)

In response to Jesus, Peter said, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you want, I will make three tents here, one for you, and one for Mōses, and one for Ēlijah.” | In response to Jesus, Peter said, “Lord, it is good for us to be here; if you want, I will make three tents here, one for you, and one for Mōses, and one for Ēlijah.” |

And Jesus came to them and after touching them, he said, “Get up, and stop being afraid.” | And Jesus came to them and after touching them, he said, “Get up, and stop being afraid.” |

And the disciples asked him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Ēlijah must come first?” | And his disciples asked him, saying, “Why then do the scribes say that Ēlijah must come first?” |
And in response, he said, “Ēlijah is coming and will restore all things; | And in response to them, Jesus said, “Ēlijah is coming first and will restore all things; |
