Laborers in the Vineyard

20:7 λέγουσιν αὐτῷ, ὅτι οὐδεὶς ἡμᾶς ἐμισθώσατο.

20:14 ἆρον τὸ σὸν καὶ ὕπαγε.

20:15 [ἢ] οὐκ ἔξεστίν μοι ὃ θέλω ποιῆσαι ἐν τοῖς ἐμοῖς;
ἢ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρός ἐστιν ὅτι ἐγὼ ἀγαθός εἰμι; 		15 ἢ οὐκ ἔξεστί μοι ποιῆσαι ὃ θέλω ἐν τοῖς ἐμοῖς;
εἰ ὁ ὀφθαλμός σου πονηρός ἐστιν, ὅτι ἐγὼ ἀγαθός εἰμι;
Is it not lawful for me to do what I want with what is my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’ Is it not lawful for me to do what I want with what is my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’
20:16 οὕτως ἔσονται οἱ ἔσχατοι πρῶτοι καὶ οἱ πρῶτοι ἔσχατοι. 16 οὕτως ἔσονται οἱ ἔσχατοι πρῶτοι, καὶ οἱ πρῶτοι ἔσχατοι· πολλοὶ γὰρ εἰσι κλητοί, ὀλίγοι δὲ ἐκλεκτοί.

Death, Resurrection Foretold

20:22 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, οὐκ οἴδατε τί αἰτεῖσθε.

λέγουσιν αὐτῷ, δυνάμεθα. 		22 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, οὐκ οἴδατε τί αἰτεῖσθε.
δύνασθε πιεῖν τὸ ποτήριον, ὃ ἐγὼ μέλλω πίνειν, καὶ τὸ βάπτισμα, ὃ ἐγὼ βαπτίζομαι, βαπτισθῆναι;
λέγουσιν αὐτῷ, δυνάμεθα.
But in response, he said, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink?” They said to him, “We are able.” But in response, he said, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to him, “We are able.”

He said to them, “On the one hand, you shall drink my cup; but on the other hand, to sit on my right and on my left, [this] is not mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.” He said to them, “On the one hand, you shall drink my cup and to be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with; but on the other hand, to sit on my right and on my left, is not mine to give, but it is for those for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

Healing Two Blind Men
(Mark 10:46‑52; Luke 18:35‑43)

20:31 ὁ δὲ ὄχλος ἐπετίμησεν αὐτοῖς ἵνα σιωπήσωσιν· οἱ δὲ μεῖζον ἔκραξαν λέγοντες, ἐλέησον ἡμᾶς, κύριε, υἱὸς Δαυίδ. 31 ὁ δὲ ὄχλος ἐπετίμησεν αὐτοῖς ἵνα σιωπήσωσιν.

20:34 σπλαγχνισθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἥψατο τῶν ὀμμάτων αὐτῶν, καὶ εὐθέως ἀνέβλεψαν καὶ ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ. 34 σπλαγχνισθεὶς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς ἥψατο τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτῶν· καὶ εὐθέως ἀνέβλεψαν αὐτῶν οἱ ὀφθαλμοί, καὶ ἠκολούθησαν αὐτῷ.
