ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἢ ἐξ ἀνθρώπων;
οἱ δὲ διελογίζοντο παρ᾿ ἑαυτοῖς, λέγοντες, ἐὰν εἴπωμεν, ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, ἐρεῖ ἡμῖν, διατί οὖν οὐκ ἐπιστεύσατε αὐτῷ;

21:26 ἐὰν δὲ εἴπωμεν, ἐξ ἀνθρώπων, φοβούμεθα τὸν ὄχλον, πάντες γὰρ ὡς προφήτην ἔχουσιν τὸν Ἰωάννην. 26 ἐὰν δὲ εἴπωμεν, ἐξ ἀνθρώπων, φοβούμεθα τὸν ὄχλον· πάντες γὰρ ἔχουσι τὸν Ἰωάννην ὡς προφήτην.

21:27 καὶ ἀποκριθέντες τῷ Ἰησοῦ εἶπαν, οὐκ οἴδαμεν.

Parable of Two Sons

21:28 Τί δὲ ὑμῖν δοκεῖ;
ἄνθρωπος εἶχεν τέκνα δύο.
καὶ προσελθὼν τῷ πρώτῳ εἶπεν, τέκνον, ὕπαγε σήμερον ἐργάζου ἐν τῷ ἀμπελῶνι. 		28 Τί δὲ ὑμῖν δοκεῖ;
ἄνθρωπος εἶχε τέκνα δύο, καὶ προσελθὼν τῷ πρώτῳ εἶπε, τέκνον, ὕπαγε, σήμερον ἐργάζου ἐν τῷ ἀμπελῶνί μου.

21:30 προσελθὼν δὲ τῷ ἑτέρῳ εἶπεν ὡσαύτως.

Then when he came to the other, he said the same thing; and in response, he said, ‘I will, sir’; but he didn’t go. Then when he came to the second, he said the same thing; and in response, he said, ‘I will, sir’; but he didn’t go.
21:31 τίς ἐκ τῶν δύο ἐποίησεν τὸ θέλημα τοῦ πατρός;
λέγουσιν, ὁ πρῶτος.
