Resurrection of Jesus

24:18 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ εἷς ὀνόματι Κλεοπᾶς εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν, σὺ μόνος παροικεῖς Ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ οὐκ ἔγνως τὰ γενόμενα ἐν αὐτῇ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις; 18 ἀποκριθεὶς δὲ εἷς, ὄνομα Κλεόπας, εἶπε πρὸς αὐτόν, σὺ μόνος παροικεῖς ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ, καὶ οὐκ ἔγνως τὰ γενόμενα ἐν αὐτῇ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταύταις;

Then he said to them, “These are my words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about me in the Torah of Mōses and in the Prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then he said to them, “These are my words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about me in the Torah of Mōses and in the Prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.”

24:47 καὶ κηρυχθῆναι ἐπὶ τῷ ὀνόματι αὐτοῦ μετάνοιαν εἰς ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔθνη.

24:49 καὶ [ἰδοὺ] ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν τοῦ πατρός μου ἐφ᾿ ὑμᾶς· ὑμεῖς δὲ καθίσατε ἐν τῇ πόλει ἕως οὗ ἐνδύσησθε ἐξ ὕψους δύναμιν. 49 καὶ ἰδού, ἐγὼ ἀποστέλλω τὴν ἐπαγγελίαν τοῦ πατρός μου ἐφ᾿ ὑμᾶς· ὑμεῖς δὲ καθίσατε ἐν τῇ πόλει Ἱερουσαλήμ, ἕως οὗ ἐνδύσησθε δύναμιν ἐξ ὕψους.
And listen! As for me, I am sending forth the promise of my Father upon you; but as for you, stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” And listen!
