Israēl’s Future Blessing
1 [M 14:2] Oh Israēl, return to Yahweh your Elohim; for you have fallen by your iniquity.

2 [M 14:3] Take with you words, and turn to Yahweh: say to him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously; so will we render the calves of our lips.
2 Take words with you, and return to your Lord God; speak to him, so that you don’t receive injustice but that you receive good things, and, “We will return the fruit of our lips. | 2 Take words with you, and return to your Lord God; speak to him, so that you don’t receive injustice but that you receive good things, and, “We will return the fruit of our lips. |
3 [M 14:4] Asshur shall not save us; we won’t ride on horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, You are our gods; for in you the fatherless finds mercy.
3 Assour shall not save us; we won’t mount on horses; let us no longer say, ‘Our gods,’ to the works of our hands. ‘He who is within you will pity the orphan.’ ” | 3 Assour shall not save us; we won’t mount on horses; let us no longer say, ‘Our gods,’ to the works of our hands. ‘He who is within you will pity the orphan.’ ” |
4 [M 14:5] I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from him.
4 I will heal their dwelling places; I will love them openly, because my anger has turned from them. | 4 I will heal their dwelling places; I will love them openly, because my anger has turned from them. |
5 [M 14:6] I will be as the dew to Israēl: he shall grow as the lily, and cast forth his roots as Lebanon.
5 I will be like dew to Israēl; he shall bloom like a lily and thrust his roots like Lebanon. | 5 I will be like dew to Israēl; he shall bloom like a lily and thrust his roots like Lebanon. |
6 [M 14:7] His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his smell as Lebanon.

7 [M 14:8] They who dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the grain, and grow as the vine: the scent of it shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
