ὁ
τίς
σοι
ὅτι

14 [LXX 3:15] And Yahweh Elohim said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.
14 [LXX 3:15] And the Lord God said to the snake, “Because you did this, you are cursed from all cattle and from all the beasts of the land. On your chest and belly you will go, and you will eat land all the days of your life. | 14 [LXX 3:15] And the Lord God said to the snake, “Because you did this, you are cursed from all cattle and from all the beasts which are on the land. On your chest and belly you will go, and you will eat land all the days of your life. |
15 [LXX 3:16] And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; it shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
15 [LXX 3:16] And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed, he shall watch out for your head, and you shall watch out for his heel.” | 15 [LXX 3:16] And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed, he shall watch out for your head, and you shall watch out for his heel.” |
16 [LXX 3:17] Unto the woman he said, “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in sorrow you shall bring forth children; and your desire shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.”
16 [LXX 3:17] And to the woman he said, “While multiplying, I will multiply your pains and your groanings; in pain you shall bring forth children, and your submission shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.” | 16 [LXX 3:17] And to the woman he said, “While multiplying, I will multiply your pains and your groanings; in pain you shall bring forth children, and your submission shall be to your husband, and he shall rule over you.” |
17 [LXX 3:18] And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it. cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
17 [LXX 3:18] And He said to Adam, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat of this one only – you ate from it–cursed is the land in your labours. In pain, you will eat it all the days of your life. | 17 [LXX 3:18] And He said to Adam, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat of this one only – you ate from it–cursed is the land in your labours. In pain, you will eat it all the days of your life. |
18 [LXX 3:192] Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to you; and you shall eat the herb of the field;
18 [LXX 3:192] It will bring forth thorns and thisles for you, and you will eat the vegetation of the field. | 18 [LXX 3:192] It will bring forth thorns and thisles for you, and you will eat the vegetation of the field. |
19 [LXX 3:20] In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground; for out of it were you taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”
19 [LXX 3:20] In the sweat of your face, you will eat your bread until you return to the land out of which you were taken, because you are land and you will return into land.” | 19 [LXX 3:20] In the sweat of your face, you will eat your bread until you return to the land out of which you were taken, because you are land and you will return into land.” |
20 [LXX 3:21] And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
20 [LXX 3:21] And Adam called the name of his wife Zōē, because she was the mother of all living. | 20 [LXX 3:21] And Adam called the name of his wife Zōē, because she was the mother of all living. |
21 [LXX 3:22] Unto Adam also and to his wife Yahweh Elohim made coats of skins, and clothed them.
21 [LXX 3:22] And the Lord God made garments of hides for Adam and his wife, and clothed them. | 21 [LXX 3:22] And the Lord God made garments of hides for Adam and his wife, and clothed them. |
22 [LXX 3:23] And Yahweh Elohim said, “Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil; and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:”
22 [LXX 3:23] And God said, “Look! Adam has become like one of us, to know good and evil, and now lest he extend his hand, and take of the tree of life and eat and will live forever–” | 22 [LXX 3:23] And God said, “Look! Adam has become like one of us, to know good and evil, and now lest he extend his hand, and take from the tree of life and eat and will live forever–” |
23 [LXX 3:24] Therefore Yahweh Elohim sent him forth from the orchard of Eden, to till the ground from where he was taken.
23 [LXX 3:24] So the Lord God sent him out of the orchard of delight to cultivate the land out of which he was taken. | 23 [LXX 3:24] So the Lord God sent him out of the orchard of delight to cultivate the land out of which he was taken. |
24 [LXX 3:25] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the orchard of Eden cherubs, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
24 [LXX 3:25] And he expelled Adam and caused him to dwell opposite the orchard of Delight, and stationed the cherubs and the fiery sword that twirls to guard the way of the tree of life. | 24 [LXX 3:25] And he expelled Adam and caused him to dwell opposite the orchard of Delight, and stationed the cherubs and the fiery sword that twirls to guard the way of the tree of life. |
