1 [LXX 3:2] Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Yahweh Elohim had made. And he said to the woman, “Yes, has God said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the orchard?’ ”

14 [LXX 3:15] And the Lord God said to the snake, “Because you did this, you are cursed from all cattle and from all the beasts of the land. 17 [LXX 3:18] And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten of the tree, of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it. cursed is the ground for your sake; in sorrow you shall eat of it all the days of your life;

17 [LXX 3:18] And He said to Adam, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat of this one only – you ate from it–cursed is the land in your labours. 19 [LXX 3:20] ἐν ἱδρῶτι τοῦ προσώπου σου φάγῃ τὸν ἄρτον σου, ἕως τοῦ ἀποστρέψαι σὲ εἰς τὴν γῆν ἐξ ἧς ἐλήμφθης· ὅτι γῆ εἶ, καὶ εἰς γῆν ἀπελεύσῃ.	19 [LXX 3:20] ἐν ἱδρῶτι τοῦ προσώπου σου φαγῇ τὸν ἄρτον σου, ἕως τοῦ ἀποστρέψαι σε εἰς τὴν γῆν, ἐξ ἧς ἐλήφθης, ὅτι γῆ εἶ καὶ εἰς γῆν ἀπελεύσῃ·

23 [LXX 3:24] Therefore Yahweh Elohim sent him forth from the orchard of Eden, to till the ground from where he was taken.

24 [LXX 3:25] καὶ ἐξέβαλεν τὸν Ἀδάμ, καὶ κατῴκισεν αὐτὸν ἀπέναντι τοῦ παραδείσου τῆς τρυφῆς· καὶ ἔταξεν τὰ Χερουβίν· καὶ τὴν φλογίνην ῥομφαίαν τὴν στρεφομένην, φυλάσσειν τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ ξύλου τῆς ζωῆς.	24 [LXX 3:25] καὶ ἐξέβαλε τὸν Ἀδὰμ καὶ κατῴκισεν αὐτὸν ἀπέναντι τοῦ παραδείσου τῆς τρυφῆς καὶ ἔταξε τὰ Χερουβὶμ καὶ τὴν φλογίνην ῥομφαίαν τὴν στρεφομένην φυλάσσειν τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ ξύλου τῆς ζωῆς.
